For a Good Start

I took this photo about two hours ago. We have this beautiful full moon tonight.

I haven’t touched my camera all weekend, so this is going to be the only photo in today’s post. Otherwise, we’ve had a nice weekend. On Friday we headed to the coast to spend a few hours at the beach again. My Saturday started with running, shower and yummy breakfast. The rest of the day was working at home. In the evening, I took a bath, which I LOVE. We went to the cinema on Sunday afternoon, after having a nice lunch out. There was more, but these are some of my weekend highlights.

Mljet

Mljet is one of the greenest – or the greenest – and definitely one of the most beautiful islands in Croatia. We stayed there for 10 days in the beginning of this month and had a great time exploring the island, the Mljet national park, the two saltwater lakes on the island and even a small island on the island. Yes, that’s possible – there is a small islet with church and monastery on the bigger lake. We found a few great restaurants and who doesn’t like good and fresh seafood and fishes, steaks and fresh vegetables?! The rest of the time, we were sunbathing, swimming, relaxing and playing on the sandy beaches of Mljet.

For a Good Start

This is one of beaches on Mljet. We had a great vacation there.

It’s been a few days since I’ve blogged. Sorry for that!! Summer got me a little lazy… We came back from vacation last week. I wish we were still there! Mljet, a small Croatian island, is really beautiful and I’m going to do a post about it later this week. I’m also planning to do a DIY post, a recipe post and so many other things – like reading my favorite blogs, for example (Which I haven’t done for too long!!). And it’s already Tuesday?! Ahh…

Arne is playing with ‘sea animals’ a lot lately. :)

We collected some gorgeous smelling mint on Sunday. I had planned to make mint syrup, but I was being really lazy these couple of days. So, my mom made it. ;)

Yesterday we went to the Slovenian coast for a few hours at the beach…

…and today – we went to the pool, because we really kind of miss the sea. I know, it’s not the same, but we had a great time anyway.
