I got this idea the other day, when I was making something (which, by the way, didn’t succeed) using straight pins. After the unsuccessful project, pins were lying on the table with all those pinheads together and I liked it. I wanted to make something with those pins and this was my first idea. Now, after making the straight pin necklace, I like the result and so does my niece who already took my necklace home with her. (Thanks for being a model, Hana!;))
If you want to make one too, you’ll need: chain necklace, small double split ring, straight pins (I used 20 pins.) and some basic tools – end cutters and long nose pliers.
First cut of the (dangerous) end of a pin, bend the remaining end of the pin (using pliers) to create a small hook and use pliers to attach it to the small ring. Repeat the process for all the pins. Then place the ring on the necklace and you’re done.
So simple, and it looks great. =0)
