Simple DIY – Leather Phone Case

I’ve been working on some DIY projects using leather lately. My new leather phone case is one of them. The phone case maybe isn’t anything special, but I like it. The soft leather protects the phone, which fits perfectly inside and doesn’t slip out.

All you need to make one is a piece of leather, leather cord, ruler and pencil, leather punch and scissors.

Cut the leather to fit, mark where to make holes for the leather cord, make holes with the leather punch on the both ends at the same time, then place the leather cord through the holes using the same stich as here – please look that tutorial and also the photos below, in the end make a knot and cut off the rest of the leather cord. Then repeat the process on the other side.

I hope you’re having a great week so far and have an even better weekend!!

  1. I don’t have a cell phone case but I am sure it’s a good idea, especially if I had one that cool.

  2. Cool! My phone is so cheap and ugly it doesn’t really need protection, but I do love the look of this. Perhaps I should be trying some leather projects as well..
